Marilyn Robertson

I have always been intrigued by fibers and color. When I see a skein of yarn or a piece of fabric my mind wonders creating a finished product in my head and eventually with my hands. Transforming a ball of yarn into a finished piece using my hands and a pair of needles has always struck me as magical.

My collection of handbags are all hand knit and felted, integrating yarns in a variety of styles, colors and textures. Each handbag is lined with exquisite reclaimed fabrics and has a variety of pockets and a magnetic closure. The large bags have double suede handles. The small bags are trimmed with fringes and finished with a chain handle. Each handbag is a unique piece of art never to be repeated exactly, so that each one remains exclusive. Jack and Mary handbags are a limited production line that is handmade with American products.
